Today, the Twinning Association had their annual picnic. Here's a group photo. Not everyone was there but we had a decent turnout. We had a barbecue and then had a scavenger hunt.
Agnès (left) and I organized a nature scavenger hunt in English. Each team got a sack with a list, a map, a pencil, a pair of scissors and an English/French dictionnary. It was fun and got the people out and moving after a long lunch.
The winning team got a gold medal (in paper) and a round of applause.
One of my young students,Judith, who is not in the picture, was in England last week with her school. You can see her little sister in the photo with her 'I love London' t-shirt. Judith was very happy and had a great time. She also said she understood quite alot of what people said. She also bragged that she translated for her school buddies. It's nice to hear that a kid gets excited about learning a language.
That's about all my news for this weekend. Hope you had a good one!

Bonjour Dedene
